Our second quarter meeting was held Tuesday May 15th at Benchmark Physical Therapy, 705B Main St, Nashville, TN 37206, from 6pm to 8pm.
Along with the regular meeting/greeting/confabbing with fellow East Side entrepreneurs/professionals, there were door prizes and free physical therapy screenings, and several candidates running for office were in the house to talk and share.

We voted for East Nashvillians of the Year! The Google Fiber team was also there to discuss the superfast Internet and TV they're bringing to Nashville, as well as the building of a new fiber optic network for the city and the construction on the East Side.

Charlie Friedman presented information about a new elementary school coming to East Nashville. He explained the school is a free, public elementary school that was the only school unanimously approved by the Board of Education in May 2012 and will open its doors to 100 kindergarteners in August 2013.
